An important challenge

At the beginning of the '50s, when Primo Togni and his son Luigi founded the Togni winery, specialised in the production of sparkling wine, their commitment and dedication paid off, bringing them their first successes and expanding the distribution of the Togni Spumantes throughout Italy.
Ten years later, Luigi Togni, the leader of the company, decided to take a new risk, trying his hand in a new sector, and so began his adventure in the mineral-water market.
In the space of a few years he bought three mineral water springs, which are still the sites today of the Acque Togni plants.

A new generation of success

In the eighties, Luigi’s children, Paolo and Paola, joined the company and introduced a new industrialisation process, developing and expanding the company business.
This impulse from the new generation in charge of the company brought immediate and important results, making Togni Spa a market leader in the Italian Spumante and mineral-water markets.

Investment in quality aimed at excellence

Constant research and the desire to face new challenges led to a new project: the acquisition of the Cantina CasalFarneto winery, an initiative which saw Togni Spa become fully involved in the world of winemaking in the Marche region.
Castelli di Jesi is a renowned area where production is dominated by the elegantly noble wine Verdicchio.
